The conveyance of real estate has a long legal history and is governed by state law. Numerous checks and balances are written into both the sale and the foreclosure process to ensure that the transfers are conducted properly and disputes over ownership are minimized. It appears the Banks we as taxpayers bailed out with our hard earned money (more taxes) have not been following the laws set in place to protect consumers (homeowners). Our Tax dollars went to help the banks, but was your lender willing to help you in your time of need? Or did your lender just continue to help themselves and leave you and your family out in the cold?
